VyatSU lecturer Maxim Naumov presents a "phantasmagoric comedy" at Vyatka Art Museum

Vyatka Art Museum has opened an exhibition "Saltykiada. One Book History" dedicated to the 220th anniversary of Kirov regional printing house. A book "How Saltykov met Shchedrin in Vyatka" by Maxim Naumov was presented there.

It is a play, a staging for a theater, and a "phantasmagoric comedy based on biography and books of Saltykov-Shchedrin".

A play is planned to be staged at one Kirov’s theater in the nearest future. Meanwhile at the exhibition "Saltykiada. One Book History" a new play was read by Tatiana Mazur, director of Vyatka Art Museum, Mikhail Lebedev, director of Maria FM radio station, and Alexander Timshin, news announcer of the First City TV Channel.

Now at VyatSU they work on an audio version of the play "Saltykiada". Without revealing all secrets Maxim Naumov says that some famous Kirov people take part in this recording, and recalls that everybody can see pictures to the play and sketches for the future performance scenery at Vyatka Art Museum by May 18.

22 new graphic works, as well as works from Vyatka Art Museum collection are displayed at the exhibition "Saltykiada. One Book History".
