The awarding took place in the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod - National Research University (UNN).
The competence center "Use of biological resources" has been successfully operating for several years in the Institute of Biology and Biotechnology of Vyatka State University. It is aimed at solving strategically important problems for the whole region.
The organizer, ideologist and the head of the Center is Professor Natalia Savinykh, who gained respect of professional community not only in Kirov region, but all over Russia and other countries.
Recently Natalia Savinykh was awarded an outstanding prize by the All-Russian Public Organization "Russian Professors' Assembly". She has got a nationwide award "Professor of the Year." The awarding ceremony of the Volga Federal District was held on April 5, 2018 at the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod.
The nationwide award "Professor of the Year" has expressed recognition of highest professionalism of Natalia Savinykh as one of the most famous scientists of Kirov region.
