In Kirov, the results of the regional stage of the All-Russian Competition of Professional Skills of Tourism Workers "The Best in Profession in the Tourism Industry"
The competition is held by Rosturizm together with the executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the field of tourism and industry associations. In 2021, it was held for the ninth time in the context of increased attention at the federal level to the development of the tourism sector. The founder of the competition was the regional ministry of sports and youth policy. The organizers are the Kirov Region Tourism Development Center, the Four Elements Kirov hotel, VyatSU.
18 professionals in the tourism and hospitality sector applied for participation in the event. Contestants competed for the title of "The Best" in two federal nominations: "Best employee of the hotel reception and accommodation service" and "Best guide", and in regional: "Best organizer of interactive sites", "Best animator of the hospitality industry","The best tour guide in the museum ". The competition includes a comprehensive theoretical exam and a practical stage, consisting of a business card of the project and solving a problem case.
For the first time in the Kirov region for the right to be called "The Best" in the nomination "The best organizer of interactive platforms" competed a 4th year student of the "Tourism" direction, Ogneva Svetlana. Svetlana is a person with an active lifestyle. She is a participant in tourist Olympiads of the all-Russian and regional level, for four years she has been combining her studies at VyatSU with work in the family rest house "Podkova House". Svetlana passed the competitive tests with dignity and took the honorable second place among the Kirov professional organizers of interactive platforms.
