VyatSU students win the All-Russian Students Olympiad in speech therapy

VyatSU’s Valeria Mezentseva took the 1st place in individual and the 2nd place in team championships!

The All-Russian Students Olympiad in speech therapy was held in Sochi on April 25-27.

"Speech Therapy: The BEST - Creation and Talent. Image and Role. Personality and Professional" gathered the best teams from different cities of Russia: Vladivostok, Omsk, Cherepovets, Arkhangelsk, Moscow, Samara, Rostov-on-Don. Totally 18 teams took part there, including that from Vyatka State University, which was represented by students of 3 - 4 courses studying "Speech Therapy" program. VyatSU’s Valeriya Mezentseva, Anastasia Klabukova, Ilfat Haliullin, Anna Zlobina and Ekaterina Stolbova were headed by Elena Khmelkova, assistant at the Department of general and special psychology.

The Olympiad was a series of intellectual, creative and professional competitions. The competitive tasks were arranged for both personal and team competitions. Within three days the participants proved themselves as future professionals, presenting their best projects, solving theoretical intelligence tests, practical cases and demonstrating ability to solve logopedic problems.

The jury of the competition noted the special creative approach of VyatSU students to their presentation as future professionals. By the results of individual Olympics championship VyatSU’s Valeria Mezentseva (4th course) won the first prize. VyatSU students took the 2nd place In the team championship, having received the II degree diploma.
