The Expert Council and the Minister of education and science Dmitry Livanov presented the program acting rector of the University Valentin Pugach.
As a result, The development program of the Basic University in Kirov region received the approval of the Expert Council and the Minister and was recognized as one of the best. This is because the University has ambitious objectives, aimed primarily at advancing development of the region, its real economy and social sphere.
VyatSU delegation also participated in the International conference in St. Petersburg, "Education and global cities: the coordinate system for a modern University". The participants of the event, including guests and speakers from China, UK, Italy, Belgium, Latvia and other countries, as well as representatives of all the supporting universities, discussed the impact of universities on the regions. Among the key topics – the formation of "smart cities" as centers for intellectual growth, enhance the attractiveness and branding of regions as well as intangible development.
Note that in the framework of the conference the representatives of the supporting universities and experts discussed the current situation and agreed on common approaches on the first steps of implementation of development programs of universities. In addition, there was the presentation of case studies of leading universities of the world and Russian experience of development of universities.
