An unusual educational project has been invented at VyatSU Institute of Mathematics and Information Systems

Currently in Kirov, as in Russia in general, there is a shortage of qualified programmers. This is the reason why IT-companies are literally head-hunting talented students; and universities are trying their best to improve the quality of graduates of IT specialties.

Thus, an innovative project named IT-Univer was invented in VyatSU, which allows those interested companies to participate in future specialists’ training.

Within the project any IT-company will have the possibility to conduct an additional educational course for the students (30 hours or more). As a result of these courses, students will receive certificates of professional skills upgrade, which will be a supplement to the diploma of higher education, and may give some bonuses to VyatSU graduates while their future employment.

15 Kirov IT-companies have already announced their desire to participate in the project and to deliver courses in PHP, 1C, business process organization and even Blockchain technology.  By the way these courses will be free of charge for students.

Special guests for IT-Univer opening are:

- Alexey Konyshev - the founder of the village of programmers in Kirov region;

- Yury Palyukh - Minister of Information Technologies and Communications
