On December 3-7, the largest Esports Student Tournament WUCG (World University Cyber Games) 2019 will be held in Sanya, Hainan Province, China, as part of the eSports Festival.

On November 9, the third season of the CYBERVYATKA eSports tournament ended at the VyatSU Engineerium. 35 teams entered the tournament.

Basically, teams consisted of students from Vyatka State University, but, according to the organizers, there were students from other Kirov educational organizations, as well as schoolchildren.

Athletes competed in two disciplines: CS: GO and DOTA 2. Eight teams in each discipline entered the playoffs of the tournament. Judging by the outcome of the meetings, the level of participants has grown significantly since last season.

We have attracted more teams this year, so the competition has become more serious. For example, last season on CS: GO the first place was taken by the team NAPOBEDU, and in DOTA 2 - the team CHARMED, this season they took second and fourth places respectively. This suggests that stronger teams come each time, - said the tournament organizer Alexander Shikhaldin.

It is worth noting that the CYBERVYATKA for its three seasons managed to grow from a small intra-university to a real city tournament and change the venue from the display class to the Engineerium of VyatSU.

With each new season, we try to take into account past experience, to avoid past mistakes and to develop. In season 4, we want to make a regional tournament in more disciplines, the winners of which will go to the All-Russian Esports Student League, - said Alexander Shikhaldin.

This year, the organizers managed to secure a trip for the Walk Wolku Walk team, formed according to the results of the third season of CYBERVYATKA, to the WUCG 2019 Esports Student Tournament, which will be held in China. Walk Wolku Walk will represent Vyatka State University at the tournament, where they will compete for the title of Dota2 Champions with teams from more than 20 countries.
