Spray creators Sergey Sautin and Ekaterina Shchegoleva delayed the start of sales for a long time due to innumerable issues they had to solve, as any new product launch in the market is a very complicated process. "One thing is when you deal with a student's development, and the other is when it is a product in the market with all those consumers’ demands and expectations," Sergey says. "Regardless of any deadlines, you still won’t be in time, especially if you are not an experiences businessman. You are sure to face difficulties where you have not expected them, and vice versa - you easily overcome the problems that you have prepared for".
Ekaterina Schegoleva says: "Recently we participated in VyatSU contest "Technological Entrepreneur" as a part of the jury; there we had the opportunity to talk with students who were just starting their project. We shared some pieces of advice, told about our difficulties and sincerely wished everyone to be in our place very soon, making products for the market from their development!"
Within the UN Global Road Safety Week from May 08 to 14, 2017 the MOON Spray team has launched a project: a 20% discount for a reflective spray. "We hope that by increasing visibility our reflective spray will make its positive contribution to the alarming road accident statistics". The reflective spray team will also take part in the Green Marathon organized by Sberbank on May 28, 2017. Since 2012 the Green Marathon has been implementing socially useful initiatives aimed at improving urban environment, like equipment of playgrounds and planting trees.
The final of the project is a 4.2 km race which takes place simultaneously in all cities as a symbol of people empathy. "At the Green Marathon everyone will be able to purchase the MOON Spray on special conditions", organizer Ekaterina Schegoleva informs.
