Employees of the VR&AR laboratory of VyatSU Vladimir Makushev and Danil Anufriev presented a project of a virtual museum dedicated to the construction and operation of the Circum-Baikal Railway.
A steam locomotive recreated in virtual reality became a key feature of the project. You can be its driver and fireman: switch levers, load coal into the furnace and, of course, admire the beautiful views of the shores of Lake Baikal from the locomotive cabin.
According to the results of the competition, the team took 1st place in the category "Reconstruction with the use of VR and AR technologies" of the older age group.
On June 1, VyatSU Engineeringium at 14.00 will host a presentation of VyatSU's VR&AR laboratory projects, at which the winning project will also be presented.
