Vyatka state University is one of the TOP-10 organizations by the number of employed participants of the Global Education program, operated by the SKOLKOVO Moscow School of Management
5 out of 348 employed participants of the program chose VyatSU for compulsory three-year work in the Russian Federation after studying at foreign universities at the public expense. The State University-Higher School of Economics and SkolTech are in the first place of the rating.
Recall that a program participant can choose any region of Russia for a mandatory three-year employment in the Russian Federation, regardless of place of registration, residence or training. The leading region among all regions of Russia (excluding Moscow) in terms of the number of employed is Tatarstan, followed by the Moscow region and St. Petersburg.
At present, 708 people from Russia are participating in the program, 348 have completed their studies abroad and have already been employed. Most of the participants were employed in educational institutions (141 people), in the second place were commercial organizations (111 people), the third place in terms of the number of participants in the program was occupied by companies - participants of the Skolkovo Fund - 27 people. This is followed by medical institutions - 20 people, scientific organizations - 20 people, social organizations - 16 people and resident organizations of IT technoparks - 2 people.
“It was a pleasant surprise for us to enter the TOP of Russian employers in terms of the number of employed graduates of the Global Education program. But it was a deliberate step. Since 5 people employed for key positions at the university, by their quantity they will be able to provide the critical mass necessary for changes in priority areas. At the same time, we are not afraid of the prospect that some of the graduates of the program will not remain in Vyatka State University after the end of the contract.
I am sure that the effect of their work exceeds the cost of university participation in this project”- said Konstantin Bazhin, the Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Project Activities of Vyatka State University.
“Participation in the Global Education program allows Russians to gain more in-depth knowledge in their chosen professions at the best universities in the world. No matter how well the system of higher education is developed within the country, the development of science and education is impossible without the exchange of experience and integration into the world community”- notes Anna Getmanskaya, the Head of the Global Education program at the Education Transformation Center of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO.
The leading countries for finding educational institutions where participants of the program received their education are Great Britain (35%) and Australia (31.5%).
