Traditional competitions in memory of Gennady Sarsatskikh - the honored coach of the RSFSR and one of the founders of the Greco-Roman wrestling in the Perm region - took place in Tchaikovsky from September, 30 to October, 1.
Two students of VyatSU Faculty of Physical Education and Sports were included into Kirov region team. They both returned back home with awards.
Yaroslav Kochergin fought in the weight category up to 98 kg and took the 3rd place. Eugeny Vysotin performed more successfully. He masterfully defeated his rivals (weighting 71 kg) - two fighters from Perm region team and one from Udmurtia, and as a result he won the gold medal.
The All-Russian competition in Tchaikovsky was attended by nearly 200 athletes from many regions of the Volga and Ural Federal Districts.
