A student of VyatSU Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports has become the winner of the Russian Youth Championship.
The Competitions took place in Almetyevsk, the Republic of Tatarstan, from May 18 to 20. Greco-Roman wrestling Competition for Tatneft’s prizes gathered more than 150 athletes from 21 subjects of the Russian Federation.
Evgeny Vysotin competed in the weight category up to 71 kg. He had got 5 fights and confidently, by points, defeated his entire rivals represented Chelyabinsk region, Bashkortostan, the Siberian Federal District, Moscow and Mordovia.
In the coming autumn the procedure of the Russian national team formation for the preparation to the World Youth Championship will be launched. Evgeny Vysotin has good chances to participate in these competitions and achieve success as part of the national team.
