The educational student project SCM Pharm Elective of the SCM Pharm Community and Dmitry Vishnevsky, Logistics Director of JSC Valenta Pharm, was held in Moscow as part of the 4th International Conference "Medicinal Logistics".
About a hundred students from industry universities of the country took part in the eventful program of the conference. Vyatka State University was presented by Anna Okstrud, Tatyana Pustovalova, Svetlana Reshetnikova and Dmitry Klekovkin, students of the Pharmaceutical Biotechnology major.
The project participants discussed with practicing industry experts the issues of pharmaceutical logistics and quality, the impact of logistics on the internal processes of pharmaceutical companies at all stages of the drug life cycle. A professional communication environment is especially important in preparing specialists for the pharmaceutical industry, and the conference was a good opportunity for students to receive feedback from eminent professionals on the necessary skills, knowledge and development prospects in the field of pharmaceutical logistics and quality. The discussion of issues of interest continued after the speeches, in the general chat, which made it possible for everyone to personally communicate with representatives of the profession and receive useful information.
"It was interesting to learn more about the warehouse management system, return flows and the use of automated systems in production logistics. Mastering the GMP course as part of the university training program helped us to navigate freely in the reports and mark new information for ourselves. The SCM Pharm conference brought together students, teachers and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry, provided an opportunity to gain new knowledge, learn from the experience of professionals and left only positive emotions!" shared Svetlana Reshetnikova.
Training personnel and facilitating the employment of students and graduates in the high-tech biopharmaceutical industry is an important task for the implementation of the strategic project "Health Technologies" of the Vyatka State University Development Program for 2021-2030.
