As its international activity the University provides education for foreign students in the fields of specialization according to the state licence of the VyatSU.
Pre-university training of foreigners is organized by the Department of Pre-university training and testing.

Citizens of foreign countries enrolled for education in the VyatSU are given all necessary conditions to get the knowledge they need in the chosen field of science and engineering. Foreign citizens are trained by curricula and according to the educational programs for higher professional education in the RF. Individual training by special curriculum is also possible in some cases. After graduation from the VyatSU foreign citizens get diploma and certificates of the standard form adopted by the Russian Federation state.
Training for foreigners to enter the University
To enter the University, foreigners can get training in three areas:
1. engineering (subjects to be studied are: Russian, mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, history of Russia, sports)
2. chemical (subjects to be studied are: Russian, mathematics, chemistry, physics, computer science, history of Russia, sports)
3. biological (subjects to be studied are: Russian, mathematics, biology, chemistry, computer science, history of Russia, sports)
After finishing the preparatory course, the trainees who have passed the final exams successfully are given the corresponding Certificate.
